Why we started Trout Software.
We started Trout Software from a simple observation. The systems that run the physical world, like factories, utilities, transport and defense sites, had to meet modern security demands. The tools on offer were not built for them.
Most security innovation went to cloud and IT. Plant networks stayed complex and fragile, and they relied on implicit trust. Operators had to choose between protection and keeping production running. We found that trade-off unacceptable.
We founded Trout Software to remove that trade-off.
